Licensed to preach as a young man Reverend Nicholas J. Yarbrough has been preaching the gospel since December 1995. He became an associate minister of New Rehoboth Baptist Church and was ordained in October 1999 by Reverend Dr. Zollie R. Wright, Pastor of New Rehoboth Baptist Church (now deceased). Reverend Yarbrough was voted as the Assistant Pastor in 2017. In November 2019, Rev Nicholas Yarbrough was installed as the Pastor of New Rehoboth Baptist Church. Nicholas Yarbrough is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. He met and married his wife, Sister Melissa Yarbrough, in April 1997. They have three adult children. He is an effective communicator of God’s Word and recognized for his dynamic teaching and preaching style. The scripture that best describes Reverend Yarbrough’s ministry is Isaiah 61:1-3. “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;”
